“The Tyler,” located in East Haven, CT is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. With guidance from the National Parks Service, the project focused on preserving the historic character of the property, while also employing the most advanced building practices through the PHIUS construction standards and quality assurance system. Exterior upgrades included restoration of the cupola and its clock, masonry repointing, roofing, windows, doors, walkways, and extensive landscaping improvements. The interior renovation included upgraded electrical, mechanical, plumbing, security, and fire protection systems, along with newly appointed 1- and 2-bedroom units with multiple amenity spaces for its residents to enjoy.
