16 Story Senior Living Community Rehabilitated with Modern and Quality Improvements
Quincy Tower is a high-rise apartment community located in Boston’s Chinatown neighborhood offering 162 one-bedroom units to seniors 62 years of age and older. The property underwent extensive interior and exterior remodeling including new kitchens, bathrooms, common areas, and elevator modernizations. Improvements were also made to multiple tenant spaces including the Golden Age Center, Computer Learning Center, and Multipurpose Room. 14 units were also converted to meet accessibility standards. Exterior improvements included new roofing, exterior doors, masonry restoration, and a courtyard garden. Life safety and mechanical improvements included new fire alarms, backup generator, groundwater recharge system, boiler plant, and fire sprinkler pumps.
